In this, at times, confusing period of major transitions, our secure atmosphere allows girls and boys to discover a real sense of themselves. The Prep School’s unique learning environment gives special consideration to the growth and development of the young adolescent where they can freely develop and mature as a person: socially, emotionally and intellectually. The supportive environment provides for a student’s growing self-expression, self-reliance and leadership skills. The resulting social and emotional growth helps students develop excellent interpersonal skills to ease the challenges to come: leadership roles, involvement in the School and the new experience of Young Round Square. Students coming from the Prep School gain independence and mature into responsible young adults who are capable and ready for success in Advanced Placement courses in the Upper School and throughout their lives.
