On April 9, Mr. Hammond, Director of University Counselling, met with Jordyn Listro ’13 during his counsellor tour at the University of Tampa in Florida, USA. Jordyn is currently studying at the University of South Florida, and she has been part of the USF Women’s Soccer Team for the past four years (‘Go Bulls!’). Two talented alumni speakers, Dr. Michael Williams-Bell ’00 and Karima Dharssi ’02, returned to Bayview Glen on Tuesday, March 7 for our last Career Breakfast of the school year in the field of Applied Science and Kinesiology. Carley Allison '13 was a remarkable young person who touched countless lives with her talent, compassion and positive attitude. As a student at Bayview Glen, she was often spotted helping others in the hallway, playing the piano in the theatre or pitching in to organize an event for the community. In her final year at the school, she was diagnosed with a rare 1 in 3.5 billion form of sarcoma. Through her illness, Carley thought of others and constantly reassured those around her. On October 7, Bayview Glen welcomed back 65 Alumni and Staff to celebrate Homecoming 2016, an annual tradition that gives alumni the opportunity to reconnect with friends, peers, teachers and staff.
