Parent Volunteer Spotlight – Maryam Hooshyar, Parent Association

Maryam Hooshyar is one of the Co-Social Directors of the Bayview Glen Parent Association. Maryam is a proud parent of three children: her eldest is in her second year of university, her middle child is in Grade 6, and her youngest is in Grade 4.

This is her 12th year at Bayview Glen and her 11th year serving on the Parent Association team. She began volunteering as soon as her family joined the school, starting as a Class Parent. She also had the pleasure of helping coach the Robotics team for five years while her daughter was part of the Robotics programme.

Together with her wonderful partner, Naghmeh, they are excited to bring engaging and memorable social events to our school community. We are always open to your feedback and new ideas, as we continually strive to make our events even better.
