#BVGAlumniReunion2021 Weekend: A Virtual Success
Thanks everyone for participating in the #BVGAlumniReunion2021 Virtual Jeopardy Game Night on Friday, May 28, 2021 and thanks to those alumni, students and parents for joining the fun virtual children’s book reading and Q & A session with #BVGAlumni author Layla Ahmad ’10 on Saturday, May 29, 2021.
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 circumstances, we regrettably cannot host our annual Alumni Reunion Weekend in person again this year. Thereby, the Bayview Glen Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Parent Association, was delighted to present two virtual events over the last weekend of May 2021 for our alumni and school community to keep the tradition going.
#BVGAlumni Reunion 2021 Virtual Jeopardy Game
Friday, May 28, 2021 | 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. | Online via Zoom
On the evening of Friday, May 28, the Alumni Association hosted our first ever virtual Alumni Reunion event over Zoom with a great turnout.
A wide span of alumni from the class of 1991 to recent grads, especially those alumni in different time zones (Berlin, Hong Kong, etc.) were excited to participate in the BVG-themed virtual Jeopardy game and valued the opportunities to reconnect with their former classmates and teachers even in a virtual setting and breakout rooms on Zoom.
Thanks to the BVGAA Board Members for organizing this virtual alumni event. Special thanks to Mr. Reynolds for hosting the fun game for us, and thanks also to Andre Forsythe ’01 for sharing their Class of 2001 commemorative video with us during the event.
Big congrats to those alumni in the honoured classes for their milestone reunion celebrations. Congratulations also to the top 3 winners of the game – Jonathan Metrick ’01, Jeffrey Pong ’14 and Lexi Paradis ’07. We will reach out to them individually for the gift card prizes.
Please stay connected and we look forward to seeing you all again online and at future alumni events.
