Alumni Speakers at Career Breakfast March 1, 2022

On Tuesday, March 1, Olivia Nightingale ’08 and Christina Crisostomo ’09 joined as alumni speakers at our last virtual Career Breakfast of this school year and shared their insights in the Social Justice and Advocacy industry with our current students and parents from the Prep and Upper School community.

Olivia shared her career trajectory with us. It’s inspiring to see the impact that she is making with civil political rights and humanitarian response internationally. We particularly liked the advice that she would like to pass onto our current students – say yes, ask for help, disrupt the status quo and rest to avoid burnout. Thank you, Christina, for showing us that advocacy can come in many forms, including corporate responsibility. As Christina encouraged the students – start right now, take advantage of opportunities, align your skills/interests with your passions, take care of yourself, and use your values/passions to guide you both in and outside of work.  No matter what profession our students decide to pursue, these are great tips for everyone to keep in mind.

Thank you to Olivia and Christina for their involvement and support of our school community. All three virtual Career Breakfasts were great successes and featured inspirational alumni speakers.
