Our Junior Kindergarten classrooms are led by experienced educators who know how young children learn best. Teachers engage in ongoing professional development and deliver instruction that is thoughtful, responsive, and grounded in a clear scope and sequence for language and mathematics.
JK students also benefit from learning with specialist educators in Physical Education, Music, and French. This collaborative teaching model allows children to experience subject-area expertise while maintaining the security of a close-knit classroom community and a strong student-teacher ratio.

Children learn best when they are actively engaged with the world around them. Outdoor and experiential learning is built into the Junior Kindergarten programme, making full use of our campus and outdoor learning spaces. From nature exploration and movement-based learning to hands-on investigations, students are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and make meaningful connections beyond the four walls of the classroom.
Signature experiences such as A Week Without Walls and a winter skating programme further enrich learning by promoting independence, resilience, and joyful discovery.
