Our full-time School Nurse, Annie Davies-Irvine, RN, BScN plays a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our students. Annie provides direct care and assessment for students during the school day, works collaboratively with staff to promote health education, and liaises with public health partners when needed. Families are encouraged to connect with Annie to support a strong home-school partnership around student health and wellness.
In 2024, we introduced Magnus Health, our secure student health management platform, to streamline communication and enhance care. Magnus Health supports up-to-date records, easy submission of forms, and efficient coordination with our Health Centre. We take the protection of you and your child(ren)’s information very seriously.

Immunization Requirements
Under Ontario’s Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA), all students must be vaccinated against nine designated diseases or have a valid exemption. Parents/guardians—or students aged 16+—are responsible for reporting vaccines directly to Toronto Public Health.

FAQs: MagnusHealth
MagnusHealth is a secure, online platform that schools use to collect, manage, and track student health information. It replaces paper forms and helps streamline communication between families and the Health Centre.
MagnusHealth helps us keep student health records accurate, up to date, and accessible to the Health Centre when needed. It reduces paperwork for families, improves efficiency, and ensures our nurses have the information they need to provide the best care.
Yes. MagnusHealth meets strict privacy and security standards, including HIPAA and FERPA compliance, to protect sensitive health information.
Only authorized Health Centre staff and administrators have access to your child’s health records. Teachers and coaches will only be provided with relevant health information necessary to support your child (for example, allergies, EpiPen instructions, or concussion clearance).
Parents will receive a welcome email with login instructions. You can also access MagnusHealth anytime through the school’s parent portal.
You’ll be asked to provide medical forms such as immunization records, allergy and asthma action plans, medication authorization forms, physical exam records, and emergency contacts.
Families should update their child’s information each school year and anytime there is a change in health status, medication, or contact details.

Yes. MagnusHealth is mobile-friendly, so you can log in and manage forms from your phone, tablet, or computer.
No. The school provides access to MagnusHealth as part of our health services.
The Health Centre staff will use the information stored in MagnusHealth to guide care and, if necessary, share essential details with emergency responders. Families will always be notified promptly.
