Grad Class Gift

Class of 2022 Legacy Gift

Each year, families of the graduating class make a collective donation to honour their time at Bayview Glen and the positive impact the school has made on their lives.

Funds raised are invested in an area of great importance to the graduating class ranging from facility upgrades to programme enhancements. This presents an opportunity to show appreciation for Bayview Glen and leave behind a valuable and impactful legacy for future students.

Previous Grad Class Gifts have included:

  • CLASS OF 2021 – Wellness Outdoor Space
  • CLASS OF 2020 – Outdoor Sports Court
  • CLASS OF 2019 – Turf Scoreboard
  • CLASS OF 2018 – Installation of Lower Level Drinking Fountain
  • CLASS OF 2017 – Senior Student Commons Area
  • CLASS OF 2016 – Rooftop Patio Bench
  • CLASS OF 2015 – Upper School Drinking Fountain
  • CLASS OF 2014 – Waiting Area at Moatfield Campus

We are pleased to announce that the Bayview Glen Class of 2022 has decided on our legacy gift to support the back deck refurbishment at Moatfield Campus. This project will focus on reimagining the back deck and reflects the defining ethos of our grade through its focus on social gathering, connectivity and well-being. We believe that the back deck, as a facility, can represent a legacy that we, as a graduating class, can be proud of. Through your support, we hope to develop the back deck into a place that can be used throughout the year, and by a larger proportion of our community.

Thank you, Bayview Glen Grad Class 2021 Parents!

We are very excited to announce that the final total raised for the Class of 2021 Legacy Gift was $39,549 with 55% family participation.

Health and wellness are always top of mind for all of us. Now more than ever, we are reminded of how important strong community support is and continues to be in all of our lives.

The Class of 2021 understood how being outside is incredibly valuable and adds to our well-being in more ways than we can imagine. When these graduates chose to designate their legacy gift to support a Wellness Outdoor Space for the Bayview Glen community, it reminded us that developing our school environment, inside and outside, has always been essential to the student experience.

The Classes of 2019 and 2020 initiated the idea of enhancing our outdoor space for the entire community to enjoy. With the proposed Turf Field Scoreboard and the full Outdoor Sports Court, their team spirit has inspired all of us over the last two years as they left their unique stamp on our school forever.

These legacy funds are providing even more outdoor spaces for learning, sports and social activities. Outdoor spaces are vital to creating connections with each other, ourselves and the world. Our Gryphons today and for generations to come will benefit from their generosity.

Sincere thanks to all those families who supported our Grad Class Gift initiatives. We anticipate the completion of those new outdoor spaces by September 2022.
