On June 2, the Lower School gathered for its Recognition Assembly. This assembly is always a wonderful end-of-year tradition where we can celebrate the numerous and diverse contributions of our students. It is also a time when we reflect that success is not measured solely by awards or recognition. It is found in the growth we experience, the skills we develop, the friendships we build, the values we uphold, and the resilience we strengthen along the way.
We are so proud of all our students and the various activities that they have been a part of. Every student plays an important role in the vibrant and caring community that defines Bayview Glen, and their achievements and contributions help make our school a place where curiosity, collaboration, and excellence continue to thrive.
At the assembly, students from Grades 1 to 5 celebrated their participation in Mathematica Centrum and Beaver Computing Contest, Science Fair, Library Helpers, Wellness Committee, Playground PALS, Leadership Academy, Spelling Bee, Turkey Trot, Collaborative Cubing for Sustainability, and Robotics.
The House Cup final results were also shared, with the cup being awarded to the Blue Lynx House. Congratulations to all students on an outstanding year. This year has been filled with learning, growth, and memorable moments, and we are grateful for all that has been accomplished together.
