At Bayview Glen, our mission, Whole Child: Whole Life: Whole World, encapsulates our unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience that extends beyond the classroom. Our Annual Fund plays a pivotal role in transforming our mission into a reality, empowering the next generation to thrive in a complex and ever-changing world.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our parent community and donors like you during the 2022-2023 school year, we accomplished several substantial enhancements that continue to impact holistic care in education at Bayview Glen:

• The Preschool welcomed the incredible addition of new environmentally sustainable furniture, that will foster our youngest learner’s sense of curiosity and autonomy. We have created active learning spaces that meet the unique abilities of our preschoolers – aligning seamlessly with our Reggio-inspired approach to learning.
• Our continued focus on health and student well-being was the driver behind the new addition of our Health Centre – a place where educators along with Bayview Glen’s first Registered Nurse, will work together with our families to provide ongoing confidential support and care.
• The Upper School has established a designated Mathematics Lab where the Upper School students can access a Math teacher for targeted support, enrichment, or personalized challenge at any time throughout the day. The Math Lab is an important step towards even more individualized learning and support so that all students in the Upper School can move confidently through their mathematics journey and can continue to meet the demands of a changing post-secondary landscape.

As we embark on the 2023-2024 academic year, we have ambitious plans, and we invite you to be a part of this transformative journey. Your donation to the Annual Fund will support our school’s areas of greatest need including priorities such as:

• Lower School 2nd and 3rd Floor Furniture: Creating a conducive learning environment for our Lower School students, promoting comfort and focus.
• Faculty and Staff Professional Development Opportunities: Ensure our educators remain at the forefront of educational best practices, enriching the learning experience for your children.
• Financial Assistance: Expanding our financial assistance programme to ensure that every deserving student has the opportunity to receive a Bayview Glen education, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Your Annual Fund donation will be directed to the Head’s Discretionary Fund which will support our school’s areas of greatest need including upgrading classroom equipment, enhancing technology, professional development, and responding to emerging needs throughout the school year.
