  • A Space for Belonging and Wellbeing: Shaping our Inclusive Community
    Bayview Glen recently brought together students, families, alumni, and staff to imagine a dedicated space for belonging and wellbeing. This initiative reflects our commitment to creating an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported, fostering reflection, dialogue, and connection. Community voices are invited to contribute ideas and support as we shape this inclusive space together.
  • Student Leadership in Upper School: Building Confidence and Community
    Upper School students at Bayview Glen are empowered to grow, lead, and make a difference—both in the outdoors and within their school community. From challenging outdoor education trips that build confidence and teamwork, to guiding events and initiatives through the Student Executive Council, students develop skills, collaboration, and a sense of belonging. These experiences inspire courage, creativity, and a lasting commitment to community.
  • A Morning to Remember: Lower School Grade Breakfast Highlights
    The Grade Breakfast is a cherished tradition at Bayview Glen, bringing JK to Grade 5 students, their families, and teachers together for a morning of friendship, fun, and house spirit. From enjoying breakfast with classmates to meeting teachers and hearing school updates from Mr. Lee, it’s a special way to start the school year.
  • House Spirit in Action: Lower School Turkey Trot
    Lower School families celebrated together at Bayview Glen’s annual Turkey Trot. From JK to Grade 5, participants raced for their houses while honouring Terry Fox and raising awareness for cancer research. With house spirit, friendly competition, and lots of fun, the Turkey Trot was a joyful way to kick off the Thanksgiving long weekend.
  • The Path Here – The Path Ahead: Commitment to Truth and Reconciliation
    On September 30, Bayview Glen observed the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, reflecting on Canada’s history and honouring Indigenous voices. Through shared poetry, personal commitments, and symbolic actions, these moments inspire ongoing learning, dialogue, and action toward truth, respect, and reconciliation.
  • Prep Players Present: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
    Get ready for chills, laughter, and suspense as the Prep Players bring The Legend of Sleepy Hollow to life. This one-act adaptation blends humour, drama, and eerie thrills, with the Headless Horseman and a dynamic ensemble creating a hauntingly fun experience for all.
  • Day 9 Recap: Creativity, Community, and Reconciliation
    Day 9/Flex Day is a new schoolwide initiative that’s designed to deepen learning, build community, and encourage meaningful action. From Preschool to Upper School, our students had the opportunity to explore and reflect beyond the classroom.
  • Prep School’s Core Four: Meet the Student Leaders Shaping the Year
    Hello Everyone! We are Aiden, Ariana, Cara, and Paolo and are happy to serve as this year’s Executive Team of the Prep School Student Council. Last year’s Core Four created our mission: “It is our goal to create a vibrant, inclusive, and fun space where student voice can be heard, spirit is encouraged, and purpose is a priority.” We are ready to uphold this mission and are excited to share our own perspectives on leadership.
  • The Important Work of Growing: Honouring the Pace of Childhood
    At Bayview Glen, our Reggio-inspired preschool programme celebrates each child as capable, curious, and full of potential. Rooted in relationships and guided by inquiry, it’s a learning journey where curiosity leads to discovery, and discovery builds confidence and joy. This philosophy will be reflected in our upcoming parent event exploring the wonder of early childhood and the power of connection in learning.
  • Learning Without Borders: Bayview Glen’s Global Education Journey
    Bayview Glen’s Global Education programs give students real-world learning experiences that foster empathy, collaboration, and global citizenship. This September, Upper School delegates traveled to Dubai, engaging in service, cultural, and environmental activities alongside peers from around the world.   • Robotics in Action: Celebrating Innovation and Competition
    The 2025–2026 robotics season is off to a thrilling start, from exciting kickoff events to challenging off-season competitions. Students are developing innovative projects, fine-tuning their robots, and demonstrating creativity, resilience, and teamwork through every challenge. With dedicated coaches, volunteers, and a supportive community, this season highlights the energy, problem-solving, and excitement that make robotics at Bayview Glen truly inspiring.

    Busy schedules filled with school, sports, and activities are leaving many students sleep-deprived, affecting their mental and physical health, focus, and mood. This article explores the hidden costs of overscheduling and offers strategies for supporting healthier sleep habits and overall well-being.
  • Lower School Signature Programmes: Learning Beyond the Classroom
    Our Lower School Signature Programmes take learning beyond the classroom, giving students hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. From Junior Kindergarten’s Week Without Walls to Grade 3’s Outward Bound adventures, students embraced teamwork, problem-solving, and joyful discovery. These experiences highlight the power of experiential learning in nurturing confidence, connection, and a love of exploration.
